Manchester United vs Arsenal FA Cup 6th Round Match Preview

This FA Cup 6th round fixture see two Premier League juggernauts locking horns at the famous Old Trafford. Both Manchester United and Arsenal are going neck to neck against each other in the Premier League table. Arsenal are second in the table, three points behind United with one game in hand. And as if it wasn't particularly close, these teams have to meet each other in this FA Cup tie too.

As much as Arsene Wenger says that EPL is what his squad if focussed on, the fact they have not won any trophy in five years makes this match very crucial for the gunners. Arsenal already lost their chance to win the Carling Cup and it could be the same story on Saturday as well.

Both the teams are not in any kind of great form going in to this game. Manchester United have been jolted by two back to back defeats and that too from their bitter rivals Liverpool and Chelsea. Arsenal lost the game against Barcelona and now are out of the Champions League.

Manchester United will miss Nani after he got injured through a Jamie Carragher tackle in the match against Liverpool, where they were mesmerized by Liverpool's new boy Luis Suarez. For Arsenal Cesc Fabregas is out of the game due to injury but Robin van Persie is expected to start and frankly, he is the only player in the Arsenal side who looks like making any impact in the game.

Being a home game has its advantages for United and would like to make immense of this major occasion. Captain Vidic will be back for them and it is a huge boost.
